Pigmentation & Vitiligo
Abnormal pigmentation, whether congenital or acquired, can be reversible: treatment allows certain patches to be eliminated by means of an appropriate laser for each individual case. This may require one to two sessions for a solar lentigo (sun spot), and sometimes more for vitiligo.

Skin cancer
There are a number of different skin cancers, of which basal cell carcinomas are the most prevalent, but also the least severe. Only malignant carcinomas and melanomas can metastasize, however these too are curable and reversible when diagnosed in an early stage.
